Background on popup not showing anymore

Hi,
I’m a newbie. Used a signup popup from a template, it worked fine, but now its background is transparent. I change the background color - doesn’t help. The screen gets grayed out, the popup contents are shown and they work, just the background is empty. I was playing with the Element-> toggle before this happened, which may have caused the issue. But now when I put the toggle back into the workflow, it doesn’t change anything.
Also, I have two popups that use the same style and the issue exists with both of them. Any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks in advance - Alex

Hi there, @alexandraig… without screenshots or access to your editor, it’s pretty difficult (if not impossible) to say what might be causing the issue. Can you share some details about the setup of those popups?

Best…
Mike

Hey, gladly! Here’s a screenshot, there’s nothing fancy there, I used a template from bubble… I realized another thing I did was click around as I was looking for groups (they were hidden) and maybe I moved some element away?
Also, I created an EMPTY popup with the same style and it does show with a white background. Meaning styles are okay, I think it must be something with the layout of the popup… Let me know what kind of screenshots you need!

Yup, I’m sure you are right about it being something with the layout, and it’s actually pretty easy in Bubble to move some element or something and get an undesired result that is then pretty difficult to track down.

Anyway, we could go back and forth here with screenshots and stuff, but the easiest way to proceed would probably be to have read-only access to your editor. If you are comfortable sharing a link (either here or privately), I would be happy to take a look and try to help figure out what’s going on.

That’s amazingly kind of you! I’d love to do that, but I don’t know how. I only have the free version for now and cannot add collaborators… Is it possible?

Go to the Settings >> General tab and change the Application rights dropdown to Everyone can view. Then, copy the URL from your address bar and shoot it over.
