BBCode formatting is not parsing URLS

Code like this (with a URL) is not parsed:
United States Air Force website

but in the same field, code like this is parsed fine:
[size=4]The Scope of HF-GCS Operations[/size]

Why is this?

The do not apply bb-code checkbox is not checked.:

  • EDIT - After making this forum post. I see that its the opposite. URLs work, but not sizes. I understand that the forum is probably supposed to not parse sizes, but on my production page, its stripping URLs.

Update. I just turned of “recognize links and emails” checkbox and its working now. This doesn’t make sense. Unless the checkbox is supposed to say “do not parse bbcode links”.
