Best way to display PDF or image scan?

Hi there,

In my current app, users will be creating and managing certain legal files. They will be uploading single page documents that could possibly be formatted as PDFs, or scanned images such as JPG, GIF, PNG, etc.

I need an opinion as to a viewer plugin (paid or free) that can launch that file whether it is a PDF or otherwise and display it in a viewer. I guess the question is whether a viewer exists that can display any of these formats without knowing which it’s going to be. If I knew that all of these files would be PDFs that would be one thing, but they could be a variety of these file types.

This is a web-based app, but I will be wanting to reformat it for iOS and so something that could work in that scenario would be helpful as well. Any opinions are appreciated.

Thanks for the option, it seems that it only reads most of the file formats I need if they come from a “docs.google.com” domain, not from an AWS S3 location. The PDF works, but anything else won’t work unless it is stored on docs.google.com.
