The testimonials and comments made above seems very genuine to me, so now I am very interested :smile_cat:

@rhiane.cana was employed by BubbleHelpers as a developer and I can’t find any affiliation with the second person but I’m sure they’re fine, but yeah I see what you mean

Hi @georgecollier, I was employed at bubblehelpers and stopped for personal reasons while doing upwork jobs as bubble.io developer. It was my best experience working with them.

I am confused why my comment was flagged while @247bubble were just purely trolling…

This happens when people flag things just for fun. I have previously commented on my previous employer’s posts as well, stating how wonderful that particular team is. There is nothing wrong with that as companies need testimonials as employers as well (go see Glassdoor).

As much as I appreciate pointing out out-right scams or visibly fake testimonials, I think it’s fair to give the post a benefit of doubt even if you are let’s say 60% or 70% sure about it’s UNauthenticity.

Deejay, good point, but I’d think it’s surely higher than 70%. You’ve created 150+ posts not related to your employer, compared to 0 for…

I was talking about @rhiane.cana’s comment where she/he simply stated that they have worked with this agency and the team is commendable. What’s there to flag in it? I have done this before and it’s a valid thing to do.
Regarding my 150+ posts and none about my employer, I never said that I created a post about it. I used the term “Comment”. Here is their original job post along with my comment and their response:

I agree that the client testimonial was very fishy coming from an account created mere hours ago. But Rhiane’s been on the forums for 3 years now, and people with less than 6 months on forums wrongly pointing out his legit comment is unfair. These forums used to be a very positive place but sadly it’s slowly turning into a meme-fest

Here is one more:

I’m not shy to appreciate kind and talented people. I think it’s a positive thing to do. More so because Bubble community is still very small and we must lift others up instead of pulling them down. Healthy competition is a great thing, but healthy is the keyword here

I see, that’s why my first comment was being flagged because I had 0 posts before that.
Yes, I’ve been in the community for at least 3 years with 0 posts but that’s because I was not into posting comments.

However, as an employee of this company, I feel the need to support them. I’ve learned bubble from them and that’s when my bubble.io journey began.

I love the company and the team is very approachable. We work as a team even though each one of us has different clients. We shared ideas and solved everyone’s blockers. If given the opportunity to work again with them, I would gladly accept it.

I was excited about my first post but a little bit disappointed about the flagged comment. lol

Anyway, I’m hoping for a healthier community where we can all share ideas as bubble.io developers.

hey, @rhiane.cana I was looking for some guidance regarding Upwork for Bubble.io and since you mentioned upwork, I was wondering if I could ask you about a few things. Can I send you a DM if that’s okay with you?
