Bubble Alternatives - What to expect?

Hi everyone, I know there are several posts about bubble alternatives, but I haven’t found the answer I am looking for…

In October my bubble subscription is going to go up by 10x - obviously unsustainable to go from $150/mo to $1000/mo

Bubble is the only no-code app I am familiar with, so I was hoping for recommendations from that perspective.

In particular, I haven’t seen how solutions like Flutterflow replace the plugin marketplace for Bubble.

I have lots of plugins, some of them custom built for my app, for example a PDF and Image annotation plugin - how would I reproduce that in something like Flutterflow or Bildr?

I met with someone on the Bubble team who basically couldn’t figure out how I would optimize my app.

I’ve looked into this a few times - most of the 2.9 MM WU’s my app uses per month (65%) is retrieving data and the team at bubble couldn’t tell me how to make that more efficient.

Rather than spending the enormous amount of effort that would be required to figure out how to stop bubble from screwing me, I figure I can just exert that same effort on migrating.

Hi there! I just wanted to mention, according to Bubble’s Subscription Planner, 3 million WUs / month should be $370/month if billed monthly, when adding a Tier 3 workload tier (and $337/month if billed annually). Still a jump up from $150 but hopefully more manageable?

Thanks! Actually this is a shock to me, I didn’t see this widget in the billing page of my app. This does change things.

I’m migrating to custom code because the new pricing structure not make sense for me.
I tested a lot of tools but prefer use custom code to avoid another headache in the future.
I put a lot of effort and money to build my apps and basically bubble force us to rebuild our apps but in your case the solution is pay x10 more.
The custom code is not hard as we think, some advantages of use it:
You are the owner
Host anywhere
Easy to reuse components
