Bubble App Internal Dev Documentation

Hello -

Does anybody have suggestions or guidance for creating internal dev documentation? The goal is to have a comprehensive guide that developers can use to assist with onboarding or answer questions they may have while working on the app, adding new features, APIs, etc.

I am debating between using Bubble’s internal comments/notes or creating separate docs in Gitbook. The issue with Bubble’s internal notes is the organization, readability, etc. Also, I’m hesitant to spend a lot of effort adding comprehensive notes and such to Bubble because they could easily remove these features. Also, you can’t share these notes unless you share the full app.

Gitbook obviously lacks complete context though, I’d be starting from 0. Thus any feedback or input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

… are awful. I occasionally use them to store some quick comments on a WF or element. @bryanrcosta made this to make native notes more convenient, but I’m not sure if his project still alive:

In my projects I usually use Notion for documentation purposes.

Thanks. How do you structure this documentation on Notion, if you don’t mind me asking.
