Bubble developer with coding background, ongoing part-time (~10 hrs/week)

Hi Everyone,

I’m the founder of Indiehost, a booking platform for independent short-term rental hosts in East Africa. It’s a live Bubble app, and we’re now onboarding our first hosts in Kenya. I’ve built it myself so far and I’m looking for a developer to eventually take over most of the build so I can spend more time growing the business.

What I’m looking for:

  • 3+ years Bubble experience: backend workflows, privacy rules, API connector. Marketplace or booking app experience is a plus.
  • A coding background beyond Bubble (JavaScript, SQL, REST APIs). We plan to move some backend pieces to Postgres/Supabase over time.
  • Clear written communication; most of our work will be async.
  • About 10 hrs/week to start, with an increasing commitment over time.
  • Budget: $20–25/hr. We’re an early-stage startup, with room to grow hours and rate as we scale.
  • Time zone: within a few hours of East Africa (UTC+3).
