I am not convinced at all that this is a better design. It’s not a better use of real estate at all. Before I could load like 28 steps and click back and forth without scrolling.
The only solution to this is to set up a portrait mode / vertical monitor to read all the steps vertically.
Last attempt at protesting this change
As a bubble-vet, I 100% agree. It’s like looking at a completely different app - almost like the logic that I understood was somehow tied to the horizontal layout.
It’s one of the things I hate about Zapier (vertical stack layout) and it looks like ya’ll just decided to align with them for some reason.
If you have 28 steps in a workflow, use custom events.
I’ve been using the new editor for a few months, and yeah it’s jarring at first, but you’ve had the opportunity to try it and learn it. Now I’m just as fast in the new editor.
The first week I used it, I was pretty confused and upset. Now I prefer it. I also am looking forward to when they will use up more of the real estate by having conditions split out horizontally on the screen. As long as Bubble actually finishes this product and doesn’t leave it half done, like everything else.
I am looking forward to seeing the conditions split out and seeing how that uses more of the screen.
Agreed but when you make a huge change mandatory across the board, it seems like you think the product is pretty much done and certainly not half done.
