I have an article page and the meta description is populated dynamically for each page.
This is not picked, Google results show some other text from the article. Am i doing something wrong?
This is happening for only a few pages.
By setting this you are informing the Google bot that this is what you would like to show as the meta description, but Google can show something else here based on what it thinks is the best match for the search query. So, depending on the type of search query, Google will dynamically show the description.
This is totally normal. Although, if you would like to force this to be something, unfortunately that is not in your control.
