Thank you, friends. We will check both of these elements and fix them. I hope to inform you soon that the issue is resolved under the new update. Thank you all for your patience and cooperation! ![]()

Has there been any update on this? Had to revert to a previous version of the plugin because the newer versions aren’t working.
is there a way to improve the quality of the pdf output? or is this as good as it gets?
also file size seems to be pretty big (assuming because the plugin is taking an image). is there a best practice to reduce that size?
Hello, @avern87. Apologies for such a late reply.
We are still working on the plugin update. There are a few tough things that left. But it seems that we are on the final step. I hope to inform you and y’all soon on the plugin update ![]()
Hello, @miguel1, thanks for your questions.
I am afraid there is no way you can increase the resulting PDF file quality. You can try to use pt units with a4 format, but it can do the trick only if your element dimensions are quite large.
We will take into consideration the quality increasing feature and try to implement it in the future update.
P.S.: @miguel1, try to indicate to the Custom Format width/height the dimensions smaller than your actual elements w/h. For example, your element has 1000x500 px, try to set 500x250 px in Custom Format field.
Thank you ![]()

Hello, @robert.
As soon as possible. Till the Tuesday, hopefully ![]()
Yes, this issue will be fixed (at least, we have figured out what can cause this issue and I’ve tested all known for me scenarios that can cause this bug - they are all fixed).

Thanks for the quick reply. I have removed the Ignored Elements, and that eliminated the error.
However, I can’t get it to print anything other than a single blank page. I followed the instructions of @gilles, but nothing. Please advise.
UPDATE: figured out the problem. It the custom format, you MUST put a space between the comma separating the width and height dimensions.
WRONG: 960,1080
CORRECT: 960, 1080
Also, is it possible to have the file name be dynamic (like it was in Version 1)? Thanks.
Thanks for the update @ZeroqodeSupport
Think it will ever be possible to create the PDF completely in the backend without having to make the page visible to the user?
Also, lets say I have a page that takes a Job to make a PDF about the job. Think it will ever be possible to work through a list of jobs and create one CSV that has a page for each job I needed a PDF for?
Use the Convert = Single element, indicate the ID and element’s w/h respectively.
If you have more than one page - you should place the content, that should be within one page after the conversion, into the group. Give in an ID. Add the IDs of the groups/pages into the Pagebreaker IDs field.
Now, after the plugin update, the Pagebreaker ID field works a bit different - you need to indicate the ID of an element into this field, then the plugin will recognize this element’s ID as the separate page.
Example - I have a page with a lot of content in it. I’d like to convert it into 3 pages. I separate the page content into 3 groups, assign the IDs to them (group_one, group_two, and group_three). If I do not indicate the group IDs into the Pagebreaker IDs field - the resulting file will be 1 page with the shrunk content. If I indicate the group IDs into that field - I’ll get 3 pages:
page | setup | preview | result
Yes, sure thing. This issue is fixed already (we need to finish other fixes before doing a deploy).
Not with this plugin. The Bubble Page to PDF plugin works like the “screenshot maker” - it has to “see” the element it is going to convert to PDF. And, eventually, the page should be loaded to make it possible to convert it to PDF.
Great idea, but it will be easier to create a new plugin than make any more improvements to this ![]()

OK, so yesterday I experimented with version 1.33 of this plugin using both Actions 1.0 and 2.0.
I also compared it with version 1.27. Using the same report (same elements and settings), the clarity of the pdf using 1.27 (the older version) is much better.
I also tried using different dimensions and @ZeroqodeSupport’s suggestion to make the custom setting 50% of the element’s dimensions (e.g. 500, 250 for an element that is 1,000 x 500).
None of these different settings worked. The quality is not good enough for production in version 1.33 (it is in 1.27).
If anyone has any suggestions that I can attempt, please let me know.
@ZeroqodeSupport, will the new version (coming soon) bring the quality level back up to (or better than) the version 1.27 level?
EDIT: In this original post, I referenced version 1.28 instead of 1.27, in error. I’ve retested, and 1.27 is the last version with good clarity.
if I wanted to save the PDF’s URL into an existing row using “make changes to a thing”. If so, what steps do I need to execute in order to do so?
Hi @robert,
I’m also seeing the lower quality, specifically my text is somewhat fuzzy / not fully clear. I agree, it was clearer in v1.28 or earlier.
I sent a note to Zeroqode’s support team last friday. I believe they’re looking into it.
Cheers,
Gilles
Hi @miguel1,
Under “make changes to a thing”:
New-PDF-URL = ConverttoPDFv2.0 - output file URL
Point the the element, there’s a “more” option to output the URL.
Ran some tests this morning. It was version 1.27 that was the last clear one.
got it, thanks!
Hi bubble community, first post here. I have recently bought this plugin and it works well for me (although image quality is a bit of an issue).
My question is:
Can i switch my subscription from one application to another?
I bought and installed this plugin (which worked great) and then when i was trying to fix something on my app i duplicated the app and worked on the duplicated version. I ended up working quite a lot on the duplicated version and managed to solve my problem but really dont want to go back and make the changes in the original version. However, this plugin wont work in the duplicated version and i have no idea if i can switch it over from original to new?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Freddie
Hello, @freddiewilliams.
Thanks for your question.
I suppose it is better to reach the Bubble Support team on this matter. They can suggest the details of the possibility to switch the plugin subscription to another app.
Here is their contact link: Contact | Bubble
I hope it helps. ![]()
