Bubble Project Renaming

I’m looking to change the name of my project but I don’t want to have to reconfigure all of my supporting cloud environments.

Is this possible?

No sir no app rename unless you clone it with a new name and rebuy plugins

If the goal is just to rename an existing app - it’s possible after recent dashboard changes:

This just changes the ‘display’ name in your Bubble dashboard (which, by the way, has always been possible)… it doesn’t actually change the app name in any meaningful way (the original app name will still be all over your app).

But if that’s all you need (i.e. you just want to change the name for your own reference) then certainly doing that will be fine.

But the original app name will still be visible to Users if they know where to look.

Whether or not that matters is an entirely different question…

Somehow I’ve missed this thread 6 years ago and never tried to change app name display in the dashboard by clicking on it’s name before…

[New Feature] Ability to rename and tag apps

Hello, We just added to features on the dashboard that will help with organizing apps. You can now rename apps, and also tag them to organize them. It should be quite straightforward: you can click on an app name to rename it, and you can add tags or pick an existing one below. Once applications are tagged, you can filter them by tags at the top of the dashboard. [01 AM] This will be particularly useful for users with many applications.
