BubbleGo now not working on IOS?

Hey just wondering if anyone else is experiencing a stuck splash screen when loading there app through BubbleGo IOS???

Like BubbleGo literally not working as of 20/04/25. Had been working up until now, have tried reinstalling/updating bubblego on testflight + changing to different devices. Everytime I select a branch to initiate, I just get stuck on the BubbleGo splash screen. Please Help!

Yes same here.

I installed BubbleGo latest version (1.8.2) and my mobile app now gets stuck on splash screen.

I haven’t had the time to file a bug report yet, let us know if you do

Bug report sent through, I’m located in Australia so I’m thinking i’m one of the first to have this issue. Will have to wait for Easter and EST.

Sorry bro.. ive been waiting for help on this for at least two months. All we get is, we’re working on it. To me you would think it would be one of the main priorities to make sure people can test their apps but.. android app wasnt working now the ios app… they obviously prioritize ios over apple so now that the ios version is broken theyll be sure to fix it right away.

The issue happens in BubbleGo version 1.8.2 that came out Friday.

If you want to get your apps working again in Bubble Go, you can actually reinstall version 1.8.1 in testflight. But this version contains other bugs (for example, bugs related to dates, that were supposed to be fixed in 1.8.2)

I also installed the latest version, but everything seems to work as usual..

Yep can confirm 1.8.1 works perfectly fine on iOS.

I don’t want to make controversy, but these comments create a bit inappropriate. We are all aware that the mobile version is in beta version. I often read about complaints against Bubble or where it is written that customers complain. Guys, maybe it’s the case not to make promises to our customers yet since the mobile version is not yet stable.. I assure you about some vicissitudes that put everything in! We should support each other and support them to eliminate bugs quickly, Complaints as an end in themselves I don’t think they help here.

It didnt start as a complaint but after numerous non responses from all avenues including twitter.. it has turned into a complaint. You would think making sure people can test their apps natively would be a priority here but its obviously not.

The alternative to test the apps you also have without Bubble Go on Android. You have the web view and you can distribute a test version on Google Play Interna, just like I did and many others above. Complaint for what? You’re not paying.. It’s in beta version! I understand that it may bother you, but in several posts they have specified that at the moment the priority is stability on Android. So let’s all calm down and try to find a solution to get to the goal, because I assure you that you can test even without Bubble Go on Android.

Same here after updating to version 1.8.2. I’ve reported the bug and am waiting for a fix.

Pressure makes diamonds Mario, all we’re doing here is making the team aware of our frustration, which helps them expedite this specific issue. And I agree with Jacob2 that this is kind of a key concern, as development on the web is very difficult with many native features being unavailable. And the other alternative of pushing an OTA build doesn’t help either as then I am utilising LIVE data which goes completely against the purpose of testing. You mean well mario, and so do we, lets get this fixed.

We have not been able to reproduce any crashing on our end - but yes, making sure BubbleGo works properly on iOS and Android is a top priority. Version 1.8.2 was released specifically because it solves a number of Android bugs. We are digging into the crash reports as well as any bug reports to understand what the issue may be. In the meantime, you can downgrade to version 1.8.1 for testing in the TestFlight app.

Is anyone experiencing crashing or stuck screens when loading BubbleGo 1.8.2 on Android?

Yes same issue on the new version as the old version on android.

You can experience the bug on iOS if you try to run my app “P2park-v2”

Same issue here, my 2 natives apps are crashing when I try to open them on Bubble Go

Update : Version 1.8.2 is working for me now  and there seems to be a lot of bugs fixed in this version !

  • anything related to integers and numbers now work properly
  • Unwanted grey borders for groups / buttons is now fixed

Can also confirm that 1.8.2 IS working for myself. Not sure if anything had been done by the bubble.io team or not, but I downgraded to 1.8.1 for a day, then went back to 1.8.2 and everything is now working again (IOS). Hang in their android users.

Glad to hear 1.8.2 is working better for y’all!

just a quick reminder, if BubbleGo crashes, PLEASE submit a crash report through ios or android. They are extremely helpful for identifying what caused the crash
