Not sure where else to put this, ive tried the feedback option in the editor, no response for weeks, went over this multiple times in the forum, but it appears I’m not alone and this is urgent as the web preview is not working properly on a lot of elements. I can’t test the app haha …
BubbleGo downloads, sign in no issues, open the mobile app and it goes to the hone screen and sign in screens properly but once it is routed to the beginning of the tech stack after logging in, the app shows a blue screen and crashes. Sometimes the app shows but the tab bar icons are not visible and the formatting is not matching the web preview and then it quickly crashes. Android 14 on multiple devices now. Please help!!
Do you mind creating another bubble account and signing in with that email to access bubblego? This will rule out if its one of your apps that is crashing BubbleGo
Hi, ive tried the app with my other bubble app that is just one oage and really has only a couple elements on it and that opens, so its something with the routing?
Yep! I can also confirm the frequent crashes. Plus, there are a few inconsistencies in native navigation (e.g tab bar showing where was not checked to show, click events not properly navigating to the right views)
Its just a page with elements haha i mean its nothing crazy at all, theres the tab bar and a reusable element thats a floating object thats it. 90% it crashes to a blue screen at that point and my ohone keeps trying to put the app to sleep because its broken. 10% of the time it loads but the tab bar icons are invisible but can be tapped and the fornatting is all messed up. Does anyone at bubble have an android device? Its been weeks now and I still have no responses from the bug reporting. I just wish i could test the app and see how its going to operate. The webview doesnt show everytbibg so who knows if what im building is even working at this point
@nick.carroll could you at least get to have the Android version of the BubbleGo functioning properly? Testing on the web browser seems to work better than on Android, making native feature testing a real headache.
I solved it by installing an android emulator and installing the distribution apk package directly on it… or from Google Play Store launching an internal test version… If you download Android Studio, you will have several emulators available to use… and you will bypass the problems of Bubble Go at the moment…
We do have android devices for testing. The tricky part with this bug is that BubbleGo on android is loading just fine on the devices we’ve tested with. We are still working on Android bugs, but some, like this, can be difficult to track down.
We are adding the ability for our team to access your app on BubbleGo for better debugging on our end. Apologies for the delay and thanks for your patience!
I’m having issues with the Android app too…just doesn’t load the first screen, stuck on the blue screen. It also crashes a lot suddenly. Over the weekend it seemed to be just fine but yesterday and today, nothing seems to work. I’ve tried uninstalling, clearing the cache etc.
Works on my iPad so I can at least test on a device for now, but definitely need the Android app to work.
Was working for me and now it does not. Since the day before.
I uninstalled and reinstalled but did not help. Tried with other devices/accounts as well.
Thanks for the step forward. I just did remove the all-important API connector, and the was a glimpse of my Home view. Beyond that, it crashes again immediately. Maybe, a bunch of plugins to be sacrificed.
I’ll take your word for it. I need the connector for google places and auto complete. Will just continue testing on Apple/web until there’s a fix. Thank you for the update though!
