šŸ—ŗ Bubble's Google Map Extender - New Plugin from Zeroqode

Hello @ZeroqodeSupport ,

I have one question:
I created a route and I have a couple of waypoints taken from a database.

For example B, D, A, C, E, etc. And I order them base on an id field 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and the total time is 2h 22min.

Then I optimized the route, lets supposed the optimized order is A, B, C, D, E, etc, and total time is 1h 59 min.

Is there any option of getting these ā€œoptimized orderā€ ?, So I can update the id field in my database, and show the list in this new order.

Thanks in advance,

Hello @edwinbolanosb

Thanks for reaching out.

We are afraid the Google Map Extender does not have this functionality built-in. However, you can try Removing all the markers(by resetting a map), making changes to A, B, C, D and update marker on a map, and then displaying the new markers and optimized route on the map. It is also quite difficult to say how to implement your use case without seeing the full picture of workflows and the configuration of the plugin.

Please let us know if you meant something else.

You might be able to use the List Shifter plugin and save the optimized list as the plugins’ shifted list. I do this to reorder my contact lists in a specific order.

Thanks @Quinn1989 , the problem is I can not get the optimized list info from the plugin.

I’m having this issue too. I can’t figure out why it won’t draw the route on the map. I’ve configured it similarly to the demo and it zooms to the map center I entered, but that’s all.

Hi @dialuna, thanks for your message.
We’re afraid that without additional details (like setup screencast or screenshots, and use case flow), it is difficult to say what could be the issue. Please share a bit more information.

Also, during the setup, please be sure to use the plugin supporting documentation: https://docs.zeroqode.com/plugins/bubbles-google-map-extender-plugin

Looking forward to your reply.

Hello. Does your Google Maps plugin allow you to create walking routes? Or does it only pave routes for cars?Hello. Does your Google Maps plugin allow you to create walking routes? Or does it only pave routes for cars?

Hi @vdghtqnbyu, thanks for reachin out.

Yes, for that, please select the corresponding category in the dropdown within the ā€œAdd Directionsā€ action:

Hope that provided hint helps. In case there will be any other questions that we can help with about our plugin, drop a message here

Are you saying that the Mapbox plug allows a ā€œturn by turnā€ navigation? I have a delivery platform that needs to incorporate an ā€œuber-likeā€ navigation for drivers, but all I have been able to do is to show the origin and destination points on the map…with a line drawn between the two points. But I’d like to show movements as the drivers move from point to point (similar to Uber), so that users can track theri delivery. This seems to be the standard now for stuff like this and users expect no less. Based on your comment, I’d like to know if Mapbox or any other plugin does this.

Hi @darrenchapin129, thanks for your question.

Yes, this might be possible to implement with the Mapbox plugin. See a related forum post in this regard: šŸ—ŗ Mapbox Maps - Total revamp of one of the most popular Bubble plugins from Zeroqode - #9 by Serg - Plugins - Zeroqode Forum

Hey Zeroqode team, Great job with this plugin, I am trying to get the mileage with the same way it’s done on the plugin demo page, however the result is always empty. would you please guide me on that. The target here is to save the mileage of a trip and compare it with the directions

Hi @evgenia.tarasenko, thanks for your message.

This is the working principle of the plugin, it tracks device location in real-time, and centers the map on the device’s current position.

Regretfully, we can’t influence this effect as it is not related to our plugin functionality (your position on the map is changed/refreshed in accordance with the coordinates constantly received from surrounding mobile towers and might be slightly different each time the triangulation happens, thus such a trembling effect appears).

Please let us know if there is anything else that we can help with about our plugin.

Hi,

Is there a possibility to make a radius around a location, as to pulsate in the very best way?

Hi @another, thanks for your message.

We’re afraid that the current plugin functionality doesn’t support such a feature, regretfully. A possible solution might be to use the ā€œAdd markerā€ or ā€œAdd list of markersā€ actions with custom markers, to attract users attention.

If there will be any other questions that we can help with about our plugin, please let us know.

That was a looong time ago. No idea if it still works, or there is a better solution now?

Yes, i think i found it, having all elements, but don’t know where to add code snippets for the feature.

Hey everyone! :raised_hands:

Exciting news! We’ve updated the demo page for our Google Map Extender plugin. For ease of reference, we’ve included new use-case scenarios:

  • create a new marker

  • add marker

  • show marker

  • hide marker

  • edit marker

  • delete marker

  • context menu (right-click on the map)

Additionally, the Google Map Extender Plugin has received significant updates this month:

  • New in Version 1.46: Updated action - ā€œAdd the list of markersā€

  • New in Version 1.48: Updated marker and route actions.

  • New in Version 1.52: Added features left & right clicks on the map

Good morning/afternoon!

I have subscribed to this plugin for my transport business. At this point I am not looking for an ā€œuber likeā€ experience but I need the ability to allow our clients to click on the map or button and let them see the current location of our transport driver. I am hoping this is the plugin that will allow it but when I add the tracking into my workflow, I am getting the following error popup and for the life of me, I can’t seem to figure out what the issue is.

Can anyone help?

Thanks so much for your time in advance!
