BUG FIX: 16 KB memory page size bug fix

Hi everyone, we just released a mobile update that now supports Google’s 16 KB memory page size requirement that has been blocking builds since November 1st. Your next new build will now be compliant with Google’s requirements.

We sincerely apologize for the delay and any inconvenience it caused. While the requirements seemed simple in the beginning, they ended up requiring multiple React Native and Expo full version upgrades. These upgrades caused a handful of breaking changes that needed to be addressed and QA’d. While we believe we have caught all regressions, please test your next Android build thoroughly before publishing to Production to ensure it’s working as expected. If you notice any regressions, please file a bug report so we can handle them asap!

The good news is that we are now on a much newer version of React Native and Expo, which will address some bugs and performance issues.

Thank you again for your patience.

Good news!

Oh God, it feels so good to read this. I’m closing a contract and this had been killing me since early on… I’m going to solve it now

@nick.carroll, does Bubble use Nitro (Hermes, TurboModules, Fabric) for its native builds?

Wonderful news, thanks @nick.carroll and the team :flexed_biceps:
