I have had this weird behaviour from Bubble with the send confirmation email action. I want this bubble action to create a token but not send an email so I can use my customized email template. I have configured it well but this bug is persistent any help will be highly appreciated.
What is the suspected bug? You stated that there’s “weird behavior”, but you haven’t described what that behavior is. What’s happening or not happening that’s unexpected?
Thanks for the response, the “weird behaviour” was that Bubble still sends me the default confirmation email even after checking “just make token, don’t send email”. On careful examination, I checked “send an email to confirm the email” on the sign-up action. This caused me to receive bubble’s default confirmation email
You should uncheck that if you’d like to use the Send confirmation email action (your first screenshot) in order to customize the email. As you noted, that’s why you were getting the auto-generated email.
So basically, either enable the Send an email to confirm the email option of the Sign the user up action OR use the Send confirmation email action but not both.
