Can Data Type (Type of Content) be created in Plugin?

Can Data Type be created in a plugin somehow apart from by having API calls set up?

Please clarify the question, do you want to add a completely new data type that doesn’t exist in your Bubble app through plugin or you want just to add records to an existing data type using plugin?

I would like to be able to expose a data array as a state and use Bubble’s repeating group to display these data.
