Can not Submit Bug Report

Really Bubble? This is the best you can do for us?

@fede.bubble what is supposed to be the method for submitting a bug report? The old method worked, so I’m not sure what changes were attempted here that caused the whole thing to break but, I can not submit bug reports.

maybe they intentionally disabled it to stop the avalanche of bug reports from all the recent issues :joy:

But yes, the old bug report form was deprecated in favor of having users submit through the chatbot

Feels like that is just going to make the process longer. I haven’t had a chance to go through this yet with the chatbot, but, I’d imagine it might be quicker just to fill in a simple form that was the bug report…maybe, if the AI implementation is to help speed up support staff, then it could be the user submits the bug report form and upon submission it is sent off to an AI for processing before sending to a bubble support staff for review.

If the chatbot is supposed to help resolve issues in real time, that is cool and should be the implementation, but also provide a button to click that brings us to the bug report form to quickly just submit details at our own speed.

Is there a way to still just submit the form?

I think the first version of this approach did make things a little clunkier but the success team streamlined the bot so it’s less clicks now. Def will take some adjustment if you are used to using the static form

Personally I hate the chatbot.

A simple form was way better. I get so frustrated at the chatbot.

I start typing my bug report then the typing window disappears because the chatbot messaged something. I click the thing start typing again… same thing several times.

Every time I submit a bug report I have to wait for this slow and clunky chatbot to respond with questions I already know are coming. Just give me a tabbable form!

Then after submitting the bug report I get a few friendly templated emails from the support team asking for the exact same information I submitted to the chatbot! I already submitted the screen recording and app url… why are you emailing me asking for it again? Why are you asking for steps to recreate - I literally stepped you through the whole issue in a 5 minute loom…

Then after a few more emails I’m told it’s a known issue that you’re working on or that it’s passed up the chain to a mystery team who never respond or solve any bugs.

Bug reports are such a frustrating process I don’t even bother with them anymore. The only times the bug report process has worked is when the issue was a simple user error on my part.
