Can we get a fix for the plugin pages missing?

Hi there! It seems to have been going on for a couple of years, but it’s really bothering me more and more.

We find a plugin with a valid link on the “Plugin page” link, only to click and be redirected to the plugins directory. Some mention that it’s caused by the user not having their account profile filled in, but if so, wouldn’t it be easier to just ask the user for it when they’re publishing a plugin?

Yes! This is so frustrating. I was recently trying to replace one of our plugins and in researching other plugins, I kept getting sent back to the plugin directory because the plugin’s links from the editor weren’t working.
