Can you connect a plugin to local app data

Honestly don’t know where to start with this.

I’m building a Charts.js plugin and because there could potentially be 50+ columns, and having a dynamic amount of fields in the property editor seems impossible, I want to give the user the ability to turn a row from the data tab into a graph. The thing is I can’t work out how to access app data in a plug in. Is this possible?

Of course.

Open The plugin builder.
Create an element.
Add an input. Called input
Set it to dynamic and text

Now add the new plugin to an app.
Add your element to a screen
Click the element.
You should see an input

You can access the input in the plugin builder in the update function by calling properties.input

I mean the database app data.

I realised there’s a much better way to do this, so I’m no longer approaching it like this anyway. Thanks for the quick response.
