Centering text in Repeating Group

Help!
If anyone can work out where I’m going wrong, I’ll be forever in your debt!

Goal:
I have a repeating group, and I want the buttons to appear in the centre of the page.

Problem
You can see in the screenshot attached. I’ve tried soooo many combinations of things (turning off fitting width, stretching columns to fit width, etc. and nothing is working to give a clean list with the same spacing between each button, and them being center aligned).

Outer Group:
Layout: Row
Container layout: Center
Horinzontal layout: Center
Row gap: 24 (space between the title and the Repeating Group)
Column gap: 0
Minimum width: 0
Maximum width: 100%
Fit width to content: Unchecked
Margins: 0
Padding: Left + Right of 8 (to keep this group wider than Repeating Group)

Repeating Group:
Layout: Row
Container layout: Center
Minimum width: 0
Maximum width: 100%
Fit width to content: Checked
Margins: 0
Scroll direction: Wrapped horizontally
Minimum height of row: 0
Minimum width of column: 0
Row gap: 0
Column gap: 0
Stretch rows to fill vertical space: Unchecked
Stretch columns to fill horizontal space: Unchecked

List item Group:
Layout: Row
Container layout: Center
Gap spacing: None
Minimum width: 0
Maximum width: Empty
Fit width to content: Checked
Margins: 0
Padding: All 8 (to allow for box shadows to show)

List item Text
Text alignment: Center
Minimum width: 0
Maximum width: 100%
Fit width to content: Checked
Margins: 0
Padding: Top & Bottom of 8, Left & Right of 16 (“Button” look as text has borders)
