I was wondering if we could change a user’s Unique ID and make it shorter instead of the long code that it has now.

The unique id can’t be changed.
What do you need to do with a shorter id?
Maybe there is anotger way to help you
so i’ve made a page "Profile" which sends data of the user from the "Team" page to the “Profile” page. and in the "Profile" page the link will be https://yourappname.bubbleapps.io/profile/user'suniqueid/ so i wanted to know if i could make it shorter for easier search.

You can use slugs.

I agree with johnny: you can use slugs to make pretty urls
i didnt understand it properly as they show a slug for a product and not a user.
Same concept, you can assign a slug to a user.
In your screenshot—the Thing to change should be current user. And next to the Slug input is where you should use Calculate RandomString
@mac2 Or probably safer is the thing to change is Result of step 1 in case these actions run out of order

there we go. that worked. it was Result of Step 2.
Pretty sure you can’t do the result of signing the user up, right?
