Checking if the user already exist doesn't work

I’m trying to run a workflow with creating an account for someone else. And I checking if the user with input email already exist by using “do a search for”. And it never works. It’s also doesn’t work if I use checkbox “return the user if already exist”. So workflow everytime recreates the same user.

Hi there, @zelftb… with regard to why an existing user can’t be found in a search, the issue could be related to privacy rules, specifically this rule. So, check out that link and see if it helps.

yes it works. Have to check the option “find this in searches” on.
