Please check if my condition is correct. I want the system to check if the username already exists. If it does, a pop-up will appear that the username already exists and will not allow me to go to dangnhap page (log in page).
Why can’t one user have the same name as another? Wouldn’t it be better to separate by email? besides being easier to do
The reason users can’t have the same name on most platforms is to avoid confusion, especially when many people share common names. While emails are unique and could work as identifiers, using them for public interaction isn’t ideal for privacy reasons. Names are easier to remember and more user-friendly, but systems often use usernames or emails in the background to ensure uniqueness. Display names can be the same, but the system relies on emails or usernames for proper identification. This balance helps keep things clear, private, and secure for everyone.
i send you a DM pls reply
The workarounds we need to do to have username functionality on our apps is aggravating. I wish Bubble would integrate usernames natively into the core of Bubble… This would solve so many issues!
