Configuring masked domain forwarding in Godaddy

Looking to configure masked domain forwarding for some godaddy domains.

Hoping to configure godaddy DNS (or products) to have child1.com and child2.com domain forward with masking to myapp.com.au/index-child1 and myapp.com.au/index-child2 respectively.

That is: user enters child1.com and the site navigates (redirects to) 应用宝官网-全网最新最热手机应用游戏下载 and displays child1.com in the browser’s address bar.

Has anyone managed to do this?

I’ve been going in circles with godaddy support who say it can be done with their hosting products (and use the SSL domain forwarding there) or by using an SSL on each of the child domains. Unfortunately, nobody there could explain how to configure the products they recommended to purchase.

Do we know if bubble.io even supports this concept? I’ve seen discussion on domain forwarding with masking with no real bubble.io solution (have seen and tried 3rd party options like coalias but would prefer not to have an intermediary layer there).

If possible in bubble.io, does anyone know hot to configure godaddy (and what products are needed)?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @matthew.rheinberger,

You might want to try CoAlias.

Thanks Johny, have been using coalias (very nice product) which does meet the functional need.

My tech investors are asking for a solution that removes an intermediary layer (latency risk, service delivery risks). While I’m fine with coalias was hoping to see if there was an alternate solution via configuration at the domain. Curious to know if it’s just a SSL certificate that I need in godaddy to enable; or whether bubble prevents this type of redirect
