Dear Bubble community,
this time I need some help for the apps that I’m building. Generally every site build on bubble has some cookies generated by default:
cookieconsent_dissmissed
appname_live_u2main
appname_live_u2main.sig
appname_u1main
Can someone explain to me what is the purpose of this cookies ? The reason I ask is because I need to finalize my cookies policy on the sites and that’s one of GDPRs elements

To start, our Privacy Policy gives an overview of the types of cookies we use, and though it doesn’t list specific cookie names, it’s helpful to get a good sense for what types of cookies Bubble uses and why. Please note that many software companies don’t list specific cookie names, as usage may change over time.
In reference to the specific cookies you mentioned:
cookieconsent_dismissed: this is used by the “Cookie consent (EU)” plugin to track that the user acknowledged the cookie banner.
[appname]_live_u2main and [appname]_live_u2main.sig: these cookies are the primary session identifier. This is necessary to support logging in and out of Bubble apps, and saving data to the current user.
[appname]_live_u1main: this is used to communicate session information to javascript running in the web browser, and is necessary to support logging in and out of Bubble apps, and saving data to the current user.

That is the answer I was expecting, thank you for precise explanations I will include them in my cookie policies. I have read this post from @josh but my case is very simple and doesn’t require any consent manipulation as I use only “must have” cookies on the sites.
From GDPR perspective having a list and definition of cookies is a “good practice” thus it shows that site/app owner is transparent about data processing.
Please note that many software companies don’t list specific cookie names, as usage may change over time.
Yes and I believe there are also many that list again it’s a matter of how company approach their transparency.
