Copying Dynamic Text Feature?

It would be a huge timesaver if this existed. Does anyone know why it doesnt?

And just like that, I found that you can do it for individual expressions but not for an entire formula/condition.

Why do you mean exactly by Copying Dynamic Text ?

For example, being able to copy all these dynamic expressions at once: image

This way you can:

Holy cow. I think I wasted a hundred hours in the last half year retyping these texts when I was making some minor changes to data structures. I wish I read this earlier. Thank you, mate!

P.S. Goodness me, there’s even “paste before/after” :exploding_head:

you saved me tons of work thank you! Specially on HTMLs

I already reported this to Bubble team as I think it should be more explicit in their documentation or even just as a more explicit the context menu label with disabled options @grace.hong
Indeed, 9/10 of the customers I am coaching are not aware of this feature, including experienced developers.

Just to make the tip more explicit and detailed

There are 3 different copy-paste options:

  1. Copy-paste a dynamic expression: you probably know this one, simply right click on a blue dymanic expression and the copy/paste options will only act on this specific expression.

  2. Copy-paste raw text: select some text in your editor field and right click on the selected text. The copy/paste options will only act on this selected text.

  3. Copy-paste everything (text and expressions): right click in your editor field at a spot where there is no text or dynamic expression (example). The copy/paste options will now act on the entire field.
