Currently to create a new 301 redirect, we have to manually add an entry. I would like to do it automatically by adding an entry in, say, a db table through a workflow.

If only! No idea why redirects weren’t automatic when Bubble created the Slugs feature. It’s a very basic SEO and UX consideration.
