Data capture on a Bubble form while Offline

Scenario 1 - Field Inspections form

  • user opens the form and any sub-forms while they are connected
  • app remains open on their mobile device
  • user enters an area that does not have cellular or wifi connection

Question:

  • Will the user be able to go about their day capturing data on their Bubble web app form and saving it on the device and then later when user returns to a connection, will the data be saved to the server database?

The simple answer (yet) is no. Bubble future will probably allow this in a easy way for apps. Right now you have to build something outside Bubble and then transfer to it when re-connected. That’s my thought about it.
