Database export of selected records does not work

And, when I want to export ONE database record, I get the entire database, why? I filter for ONE record, select the check box next to that ONE record and export…wait for my email…10 minutes later, I get 1000s of records when I selected only ONE…totally useless. Why?

Did you use a search field to constrain the results, or a database view (that appears in the sidebar under each data type)? CSV export filters by database view.

Regardless, can’t you just open the CSV and remove the rows you don’t want?

Yup understandable. Use the Search constraints for this view when exporting filtered out values.
