I know that this has been discussed before (2016), but a ruler that could be drawn over the board to measure distances would be so helpful. “Show distance on hover” isn’t always enough. Right now I’m drawing shapes to do this. A ruler that could be drawn in any direction, and not just horizontally and vertically, would be even greater.

If you are using Chrome there are several extensions that will help you with that. I personally use “Grid Ruler”.

The fact that this isn’t already implemented in Bubble is strange as it is a pretty basic design tool.
