Different result with Debug step-by-step VS Run

Hello. I have a workflow which displays items in a repeating group when something is clicked. I’m not asking about my actual workflow here.

I get a different result if I use the debugger in step-by-step most (the correct result) VS running normally in debug mode VS running not in debug mode.

What could cause such differences?

Have a quick look through the manual

Counterintuitively, Bubble’s actions don’t run in sequence. When you run in debug mode step-by-step you’re forcing it to run in sequence.
