I connected my custom domain several hours ago and it’s been showing as propagated for hours on a DNS checker but I’m still getting an error message “We found bad DNS records …”
Is this normal? I know it says it can take up to 24 hours, but surely if it’s showing as propagated, I shouldn’t be getting that error?

Thanks, I’ve done that and it shows the domain as fully propagated.

You may need to wait up to 24 hours. I had the same issue, and it resolved itself after some time. In another case, it only worked after I removed the domain and added it again.
Lastly, if you’re using Cloudflare for DNS management, make sure the DNS record is set to DNS only (gray cloud). This ensures Cloudflare simply passes the DNS without proxying or caching.
