Does Hidden Repeating Group Still loads the data?

Hi Bubblers,

If i have a some Hidden repeating groups on the page
Will it still do Do a search for... data source of hidden repeating group ?

Does it effects the performance of app?

Hello - Sam here, with Bubble support. Yes, you can use hidden repeating groups to store lists of things and we will perform the search when needed.

By default, we don’t perform searches for the data sources of hidden elements on page load. But as soon as another element that IS visible references the data of a hidden element, we will perform the search and load the data.
