Duplicate email when trying to create user

Hi all. When I try and create a user that already has that email in Bubble it doesn’t create the user, but apparently returns the duplicate user. I can’t work out how to catch this and deal with it.

Any suggestions?

You should probably just add 2 actions before your Sign Up action.

  1. When Search for User’s filter(email = input’s value) count is NOT 0, do something (this could be to alert the current user that this email has already been used). I would set a state here.

  2. When Search for User’s filter(email = input’s value) count is NOT 0, terminate the workflow. This will stop the Sign Up action and every other action in the workflow from happening.
