Dynamic Color with a Repeating Group

I’m working with a repeating group and would like the separator to use dynamic colors. As far as I’m concerned, this is not supported currently. See attached image. I’m trying to implement a dark / light mode using an option set … What’s a good workaround?

Many thanks for any help or hints!!

No divider.

Put everything in a group. Apply border on group and us dynamic border color.

Hi Chris,
Thank you for your quick reply! I have additional groups above and below the repeating group. Like so …

– group A
– - repeating group
– – - group B

I use the repeating group in conjunction with an accordion menu. See attached image. Using a border color with either group above or below has not the same effect as using the separator. I thought about a conditional statement, but the separator color or any parameters of the separator don’t seem to be accessible via conditionals.

Mmh …

Use a shape element at top/bottom OR border on group top/bottom

Conditional for parent group cell is last item color transparent

First item transparent, or something of that sort

Hey Guys…

I just checked out that there is no such option in my repeating group.

any reason why??

You have a default style set

ohk, i got that in style tab.
thank you @chris.williamson1996 for quick response.

You can click remove style on individual elements

Thank you very much. I believe, there’s a compromise to this solution. It adds an additional line at the top of the list. Unless there’s a way to specify “First item transparent, or something of that sort”. Couldn’t figure that out.

I removed the separator and added a shape (colored red to clarify) at the top of “group B”.

If current cells index = 1 border top = white with transparency 0

Genius. Thanks a lot
