Edit and save existing style as a new style

I want to change an alternate version of a style,

I have a Style 1 and I just want to change the font size and then save this as two alternates, Style 1 Big and Style 1 Small by changing the font size and then changing the name.
How the heck do I do that?

Step 1 - Choose an element with Style 1
Step 2 - Override the style and do your changes
Step 3 - Click on Detach style
Step 4 - Click on Style dropdown and create a new style

Now you have two two styles
