Hey, I was wondering if anyone had an explanation as to why Bubble renders elements differently depending on the browser? I have attached two images to show the case in point. The only difference between these images is that I opened the app in preview mode in Chrome and Safari respectively. Has anyone else run into this issue? It’s as though the elements only factor in ALL the Layout settings in chrome but not Safari.
Also, in case anyones wondering, I fixed the issue by making the inputs fixed width. I’m more just curious as to why I had to do that.
As far as my understanding of things like this, the issue is in safari and out of bubble control. Different browsers and different versions of the same browser support or do not support certain types of new CSS I think. So what I believe as I recall it explained to me, is that the way to solve would be to update the safari browser version to newest version and hope safari is supporting the css in the newest versions.
its surprising more like this doesn’t come up for one browser or one browser version. its also a “random” problem that only happens after a few minutes of opening a popup the first time. We will gather some evidence and see if we can declare our row data differently. what they have in common is that all these rows are “reusable elements”. So we could try having the repeating group that contains it be a column
