Hoping to get some help with how to set up both bubble and twilio / sendgrid so that I can
-
send emails from bubble app using my own domain
-
send text message from bubble app to customers
Looking for a set of instructions on how to set up twilio / sendgrid to achieve both use cases. I’ve got a bit confused with email / template; and text (do I need to buy a twilio phone number).
Wondering if someone has a quick cheat sheet to how to set this up in a current bubble app (I find a lot of the docs to date are using historical setups for both bubble and sendgrid / twilio)
Thanks
Hey @matthew.rheinberger ,
Thanks for reaching out!
We have plugins for both Twilio and SendGrid that can help you achieve what you’re looking for, and they come with demo pages showing the complete setup:
For SMS/Text Messages (Twilio): Plugin: Easy Twilio Whatsapp Integration Plugin for Bubble | Zeroqode
Demo page with setup: Zeroqode-demo-18 | Bubble Editor
Yes, you will need to purchase a Twilio phone number to send text messages. The demo page shows you exactly how to configure everything.
For Email (SendGrid with your own domain): Plugin: HTML Mailer with Sendgrid Plugin for Bubble | Zeroqode
Demo page with setup: Pwc-html-mailer-demo | Bubble Editor
This will let you send emails from your own domain using SendGrid’s infrastructure.
Both demo pages show the current, up-to-date setup process with working examples you can reference. Just check out the workflows and plugin configurations in the demos - they should give you the step-by-step guidance you need!
Hope that helps!
Best,
