Emergency: App still Offline after 48 Hours

Emergency: App still Offline after 48 Hours. Account downgraded automatically and unable to upgrade plan. Critical business interruption with users unable to access application. Access to App is critical for existing users.

I don’t think anyone on this forum can help you with that…

Bubble support team has been barely responsive so I’m hoping that someone from Bubble might be on the forum

Support doesn’t live on the forum, but if you share more details and screenshots there might (unlikely) be some solution. In any case, follow up with support.

Why? Do you know?

No idea unfortunately! Just woke up to it.

Does anyone know if there’s a way to contact Bubble other than Chat / Email info@support ?

It seems like this shouldn’t be a big problem to resolve on their end if someone can give it some attention but it is having a disproportionate impact on our business. @payam.azadi

Woke up to what? You would’ve received a notification, or some kind of message that indicates it’s down. We’re trying to help you, but you’re giving no useful information.

We’ve been on the Growth and then Team plan for a year. Yesterday, I logged into the account, to find that everything appeared as if it was an Unpaid Plan. The App was therefore offline / unpublished as a result of it being an Unpaid Plan. I have verified payment methods, and tried to Upgrade multiple times, however I receive an error message that reads ’ There was an error updating your app plan, please try again later.'.

I feel your pain but I think this is one of the things you need to accept when on Bubble. In the end you have zero control on important aspects of running your app. If bubble makes a mistake you are in the dark. If Bubble decides your app is not allowed, you are in the dark. If Bubble bumps the prices with factor 10, you are in the dark. If for some reason something is not working and you can not think of any reason it is your fault, get in line of support on office hours and remain in the dark until someone picks up and resolves it.

If you read the forum, for a lot of active Bubblers this is fine. They praise the obvious plusses of Bubble.

It is a trade off. Depending on your business and the amount of responsibility you want to keep for your own business a decision has to be made. Do the downsides weigh heavier than the upsides?

Given the growth of the no-code space with more and more competition and the AI models that become better and better the scale will be moving for a lot of users I think.

Same for any cloud service. Even AI services go down.

But when they do … they fix it. Fast.

@fede.bubble pinging you for visibility here

Here is a quick fix till the support picks up.
Create a new project with another account
clone your existing site and database data to that
upgrade your member ship on the new project
Reconnect your current domain to the new site.

I understand that this may cost you time , but it’s better than losing some clients.

This may be useful:

The issue was resolved last night: ’ It appears that our automated systems falsely took down your application as an anti-abuse measure. Our team manually unflagged the application and added your app to a list so this should not happen again in the future. I’ve issued a fix for this, so you should now be able to put your app on a paid plan as normal. ’

Mistakes happen, but fixes really do need to happen faster!

Thanks all for your suggestions.

They did this same exact shit a few months ago. And it looks like they have made no attempts to prevent it from happening again.

So can we expect this to become a regular thing? @laura.oppenheimer

I just made a new app, to be greeted with:

Something strange is going on… I just got a NOTFOUND error when visiting the site, and now it’s back to normal…

I guess we can add blogs to the list of apps that Bubble is not suitable for

Meh, it’s not the end of the world for me even if it’s annoying. It’s back now, and it was in development rather than already deployed live so not too bad.
