Entering a verification code from a text message

I am using ClickSend to send a verification code via SMS that the user needs to input into an input (Integer) in a popup dialog.

When the message arrives, the iPhone recommends the code from the message above the keyboard so I can tap it to paste it in the input instead of typing, which is convenient.

However, when I tap the code shown above the keyboard, only the first number is pasted, rather than the full code.

Is that a bug? if not, how do I make this work?
