Error geocoding service

Hello, I’m trying to set up a google map on bubble. I went to google console and followed the bubble tutorial.
I do have a client with the url: https: //*****.bubbleapps.io/ and my server: with the 4 APIs
I added the 2 keys in the bubble parameters. and when I test I get the error: General error + Geocoding Service: This API project is not authorized to use this API. For more information on authentication and Google Maps JavaScript API services check https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

I need your help

Hi vics,

did you manage to solve this?
I have the same issue.

Thanks,
Carlo

Having this error as well.

@carlo.f @kojakeugenio did you follow all the steps in this tutorial ? https://manual.bubble.io/working-with-data/setting-up-google-api-keys

Yes I followed everything there. When I type on the textbox the location suggestions is appearing but the data isnt going to the database and there’s an error on the debugger.

“Geocoding Service: This API project is not authorized to use this API. For more information on authentication and Google Maps JavaScript API services check https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

@kojakeugenio I had the same issue at some point, I believe the reason was I didn’t activate billing in Google.

I would also suggest to check your privacy rules for User and allow auto-binding for the location field

I solved this too.
There was an issue with my billing account on google console. I chatted with a google operator who fixed the problem.

Carlo

Do I need to pay google to use this?
I am just testing it for now.

@kojakeugenio you can use it for free, but you must add a billing account!

Bye

My billing is active but it still showing errors…

@kojakeugenio you should link your project to the billing account.
You actually have 0 # of projects linked.
