External Database Question

Ok I have an external database feeding my app because it allows me more functionality and cheaper. It’s real estate listings so it’s HUGE.

I’ve lost the ability to set a page type as a result. Is there a way to set page types and treat data exactly the same as you normally would if it were in the bubble database, using an external database.
