External links strange behavour

Today I noticed that some simple links are not working properly.

The weird thing is, if i copy and paste these buttons into a pop up, they work fine.

I’ve tried link elements, or text with “recognise links” checked, and buttons with workflows - none of them are working on mobile. All are working fine on desktop.

Is this a recent change/bug? or has it always behaved like this?

EDIT: it gets a bit weirder. Links work in some places on screen, and not in others. For example please see video here:

Works in the yellow group, not in the white one under it. If i move back up to the yellow area, it works again. The groups are identical and no weird conditions etc. Odd!

After fixing this by rebuilding some groups, a completely different button has now become totally unresponsive on this page.

Furthermore, highlighting text (on mobile) is resulting in a completely different area of text being highlighted!

So I think this issue is that the whole page is somehow corrupted behind the scenes. Which is rather worrying. It was built from a clone of a different page, so maybe that’s the issue. I’ll have to rebuild it.

:pensive:

Can I delete this thread in embarrassment?

Actually I shall leave it up for those who make the same mistake…

The issue was that there was a group on the page who’s height was set to 100% (accidentally). At certain screen sizes, the bottom of the group suddenly jumped/expanded covering up the elements under it.

This is why the buttons became unresponsive! they were covered up

I should have figured this out before I posted on the forum. I should have put the guides on and checked this stuff. Duh.

Live and learn!
Glad nobody wasted their time replying though.
