External services for the User Table (Xano,Supabase)

Hi all,

a client requires a mobile app but strictly needs to store most data (specifically all user data!) in the EU. Dedicated is way too expensive and overkill for the use case.

Did anyone build a mobile app already using external DBs as main data source (especially handling the user data type)? Are there any limitations or challenges that I might not be aware of yet that specifically apply to mobile?

yep it’s possible and works the same way as web.

I haven’t done user data, but other data types are external.
