Free Plugin: Searchable Dropdown with Fuzzy Search

Hi Everyone,

Built a new Bubble plugin: Searchable Dropdown Input

It’s a single-select searchable dropdown with fuzzy search. Its appearance is customizable so you can make it match your apps design system with ease.

What it does:

• Searchable dropdown input

• Fuzzy matching

• Works with Bubble thing lists or text lists

• Keyboard-friendly

• Clean floating dropdown UI

Useful for country pickers, user search, product selectors, directory filters, and similar inputs where the native dropdown feels too limited and the searchbox doesn’t quite cut it (been there).

If anyone wants to test it or share feedback, I’d like to hear how you’d use it.

New in the latest version:

• Mobile browsers now open a bottom sheet instead of a standard dropdown

• One-tap selection on mobile

• Sticky search bar inside the sheet

• Handle drag-to-dismiss

• Better safe-area spacing and mobile sheet behavior

• Improved clear button hit areas

• Better focus handling to avoid unwanted mobile input behavior, especially on Safari

Desktop behavior stays clean and familiar, while mobile now feels much more native.

If anyone is using searchable selects on mobile-heavy apps, this update should make the experience significantly better.
