The video looks great with 3 people…
4 people, amazing…
5 people… wow!
6+ people and we all become spaghetti!
There’s little no nothing that the plugin allows in terms of configuration, so I gather it’s likely something on the plugin side. @ZeroqodeSupport Is there something that can be done?
Thanks for reaching out. Currently indeed there are no configuration options for agora-remote container.
You can try making the group/shape for remote user bigger in order to fit all sides of conversation.
Hope this helps.
We’ll need some time to take a look at the remote container rendering , we’re provide an update on the matter asap.
Thanks for understanding
Bigger?! Lol. How much bigger would it have to be!? It’s clear the way the remote is configured, it only fits 4 people (the local video is in another container). Once there are 5 people in the remote viewer, it becomes spaguetti. I’m sure this isn’t what is intended by Agora. I believe the video should support up to 9 people if I’m not mistaken, which is why I’m paying for this plugin.
Btw, now that we’re talking, any news on live streaming?
We’ve check the connection to a number of 6 devices at a time, it indeed the video will be displayed with the users in the remote container in a list, however as mentioned above the container should be bigger to display more peers with their respective controls to fit in.
As for the Streaming functionality is being tested at the moment and adjusted accordingly .
This can’t possibly be by Agora’s design. The video container would have to be multiple screens long to correctly fit 8 videos stacked up on top of each other. I would encourage you to check your plugin’s settings and issue appropriate fixes… or just explicitly say this fact in your plugin’s description and / or limit participants where the experience remains good.
Sorry for the trouble, however currently the plugin works as expected, the logic behind the splitting video in the main container that is created will automatically splits the main group layout in 2, 3, 4 … n smaller remote video streams depending on the number of connected peers.
If there is an even number of connected peers the container will be divided in 1 x 2 , 2 x 2 or 3 x 2 grids to show the peers. However the number of peers is odd, then it will try to split the container accordingly so that all peers can be seen.
In this case 5 peers are displayed in for of list, as said the container should be set to a bigger height.
Hope this helps.
Your video container for 5 stacked videos to show “properly” would have to be multi-screen height, obviously unusable. How can that work “as intended.”
This is the expected layout, the way zoom and skype and others do it:
Thanks for the feedback. We’re always strive to improve the usability of plugins and listening the feedback through all possible means, though the plugin works and as described the solution is to check the remote container dimensions to be adjusted accordingly (make the container bigger), so that all peers will be connected and have the visible area dimension adjusted.
We’ll need to check how feasible is to recreate the layout in order to render all peers as shown in the example above.
Thanks for understanding
As for refund process, all Plugin sales go through Bubble and according to their policy there is no refunds on purchase of these items.
You could try reach out Bubble (support@bubble.io) and add Zeroqode (support@zeroqode.com) in mailing in order to check the possibility, for them to provide a refund.
Hope this helps.
Let me please inform, that we have fixed a bit the Agora video render quality - we have changed the video boxes position/size, when there are more than 3 peers in the same conversation, to resolve the spaghetti issue :
Well, some spaghetti may appear when there are too many people in the same conversation (or when the group where you’re showing the video isn’t high enough).
