Zeroqode Agora functionality - seperate all video calls RG

I made a repeating group of video call users but for some reason it’s lumping all of the video calls into one cell instead of each individual cell. I used an Dynamic Id (Current users id) into the groups, but that didn’t work as well. What am I doing wrong. I’m reading that it’s on Agora’s end to have this functionality.

Please take a look at the workflows and conditionals, thank you.

Audience room

Host Room

Main page (in case you want to try it yourself, make sure you schedule a meeting now or withing 15min of the current time to get access to the meeting.)

Please don’t pay attention to the design of the page. Only the workflows. I’m merely in the testing phase of my app.

It’s not showing the other users in the individual cells. It’s only showing all of the users in one cell.

Hi @recker249,

Thanks a lot for the information provided. Merry Xmas :christmas_tree:

Currently, the plugin doesn’t support splitting the remote users’ cameras into specific groups. You can provide an ID from one specific group, and all the connected users’ cameras will show up there.

However, we have noticed that you have 2 pages for the conferences you wanna implement on your application. Because you have a “Real Time Call” and not a “Stream”, the “Role” field is not important here. You can have all the conference setup on one page and not split into two.

For “Stream”, you will have to use 2 pages, as one would be for the host, and the other for the audience. Please take a look at the demo page and page editor we have, as we have provided a setup for the plugin!

Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns about the plugin. Also, could you confirm that the issue previously mentioned about the camera not showing has been resolved or if you still need assistance with that?

Best regards :sunflower:

Okay good to know, and thank you for letting me know that I don’t need two pages for a conference, one is okay. Thank you!

This is not good. So are you saying that this plugin was only for two video callers in mind and not an audience of callers? I wanted to implement a good design with a repeating group of video callers. But if all my audience appears in only one group video, that seems to me a design mess. This plugin seems to me best suited for two callers from a design perspective that an audience of 20.

Hi @recker249,

We’re glad we could provide some more information!

Unfortunately, with the current configuration of the plugin, it’s not possible to assign each person in a different group. We apologize for the inconvenience. However, the remote group can show as many people as there are connected to the conference.

If you’re interested in custom features for the plugin, you can always sponsor their development. To initiate the review of your sponsorship request, please complete this Sponsoring Plugin Features Form.

Please provide as many details as possible to ensure we can implement the exact feature you need. We’ll review it and provide an estimate of the required hours and associated costs!

Let’s say there is 2 people in the conference audience. Why doesn’t the video groups resize, when a person leaves the conference? Similar to what you see in these photos. It would still show 2 video groups even though one person left. Should it not be resized to show only one group?

Hi @recker249,

Thanks a lot for reporting this issue to us!

We’ve conducted some tests and reproduced the same problem. The remote users group should be resized to focus on only one user in this case. A bug report has been created for the developers to investigate and provide a fix as soon as possible

We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have any updates. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any questions that we can assist you with!

Best regards and a happy 2025 :sunflower:

How is progress being made for the fix?

Hi @recker249,

The developers are still investigating this behavior. We’ll inform you when the fix is successfully deployed to the plugin

However, we noticed that you also filled out a paid development form for the Agora plugin, requesting virtual backgrounds. Could you please provide more details about what exactly you mean by this? That way, we can thoroughly investigate and provide you with accurate information :hugs:

We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Best regards :hibiscus:

Hi @recker249,

Hope you’re doing well

We wanted to provide you with some updates on the behavior you reported. The developers have delved deeper into the issue and have shared some feedback with us.

Currently, the plugin operates the remote users group by splitting it into as many subgroups as there are connected users. This allows for an easy plugin setup on the Bubble page. This has always been the case, and from what the developers have told us, this behavior has been present since the beginning.

However, we don’t have the resources to resolve this matter efficiently at the moment. The developers have decided to change how the remote users will be shown on the page, but we can’t provide a specific timeline for when the new setup will be available.

Since multiple people expressed interest in assigning each user a unique group, the developers have decided not to further investigate the current behavior. In the future, they will work on implementing a way to show each user in separate groups.

Please let us know if you need more details or have any additional questions. We’re here to help :hugs:

Thank you so much for the update! Please update your plugin as soon as possible. I had to use another video call plugin instead because of the issues I explained to you. I would love to purchase this plugin for my future apps but these fixes must be made first.

Hi @recker249,

Good news! The developers have provided a fix for the remote users group, resolving the issue when other users leave the conference. In the latest version 1.72.0, the group will revert to the original state when users leave, fixing the behavior.

Could you please update the plugin and check how it works on your side? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :hugs:
