Google font drop-down list, like Bubble?

I’m trying to create a font drop-down list, similar to Bubble’s, also based on the Google fonts library. The idea is that a user can select one of any of the various fonts and weights offered. Have any of you tried this with any success?

I’ve tried to create my own small list manually, but it would appear the element’s style’s font is overriding conditional formatting.

I suppose I could inject tags from Google Fonts and set conditions.
