For the past few days, I’ve been going back and forth with support about the reason Google Play rejected my app, but nothing seems to be moving forward.
My app update is being rejected by Google Play because of a permission (android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK).
As far as I know, I’m not using any service that requires my app to run in the background. It might be a plugin that’s using it, but I have no way to verify that.
I’ve removed several plugins, but nothing has changed: Google Play still refuses the update for the same reason.
I’m starting to fall behind quite a bit on publishing the app.
So I’m reaching out to see if anyone has already encountered this issue.
